Snow melt has started early this year. Some say its because of the weather and that it will "save" us from the situation with low water reservoirs. I think it is because of the thin snow layer and the fact that racks has been able to absorb the sunlight more effectively. This means that snow melt can start early, but will also finnish early. It is like withdrwing all your money from the bank thinking it will save you from going broke.. well yes maby in the short range but.. (Nokia N8 photo)Clouds and fjords | 2011.04.13By:Jan |

In southern Sweden this weekend, temperatures were "spring like". But the long winter has made the green colors wait a bit.. Spring is comeing fast. Snow is melting in the city, and with very little snow in the mountains and so much rocks sticking out of the snow, the snow melt will probably be quick also there. Better use the snow while its still there. With water reservoirs at record low levels, and this little snow in the mountains, price of energy is going to be a hot debate the rest of the year..Monster masts | 2011.03.21By:Jan |
About time to add something to the "blog". A current debate in Norway; should thay build "monster masts" across Hardanger to improve energy support to western Norway..?..surfing secret spot, Dakar, Senegal...of Mour surfing in SenegalSurfing Senegal | 2010.10.28By:Jan |

In southwestern Norway, close to the famous mountain "Kjerag", this cabin hangs out over the steep slopes, with a nice view over Lysefjorden, and the small village Lysebotn.
